Consultation
Tom Greenfield
is available for
consultation at the clinic by appointment. A
naturopathic appointment is about finding out about you
as an individual and what is the best way to restore,
maintain or improve health.
The first consultation involves a case history, examination
and simple in-clinic testing. More extensive testing may be
recommended as necessary.
Full blood group
testing is
available for dietary analysis. GenoTyping is available
using the SWAMI GenoType
software of Dr.
Peter D'Adamo.
Other tests
include both orthodox
medical and naturopathic or functional testing, all
carried out at accredited medical laboratories.
Treatment
Treatment will be tailored to suit the
individual depending on the area of dysfunction and the
most appropriate treatment method. According to the
naturopathic triad of health this may be directed to the
physical, biochemical or mental/emotional aspects of the
patient.
Physical treatment may include craniosacral therapy/cranial
osteopathy, joint manipulation, postural analysis, soft
tissue massage.
Biochemical treatment may include personalised dietary
advice, water fasting, restricted diets, nutritional
supplementation, herbal medicine.
Mental/emotional treatment may include counselling,
self-hypnosis, relaxation therapy, homoeopathic and
vibrational medicine.
Referral to another practitioner or doctor for other types
of treatment may sometimes be appropriate.
